How to pick up your package safely



When we preparing orders for our customers, we strive to limit the spread of the virus by maintaining hygienic standards at the stage of preparing products for shipment. We are not able to control the further way of the package after it has been picked up by courier.


Can you get infected by picking up the package?



The coronavirus spreads an airborne, so there is a risk that people in contact with the package may sneeze or cough, leaving viruses and germs on it, which move to our hands, and we move them around the mouth, nose or mucous membranes of the eye. The virus on cardboard can persist for up to 24 hours.


What should you do?



Regardless of whether you receive the parcel from a courier or from a parcel locker, try to minimize physical contact with it to the maximum. In this case, it is best to stock up on disposable gloves and, if possible, open the package outside without carrying it to the apartment and discard the packaging immediately. After all, it is mandatory to wash your hands thoroughly with warm soapy water for at least 30 seconds and use an alcohol-based disinfectant to eliminate the risk.


Watch out for fake SMS messages informing you must paid an additional fee for decontaminating shipments - these are mere fraudulent attempts of fraud.
